I teach piano from my home in Leicestershire and also offer live online piano lessons via Skype.  All levels and styles, beginners to advanced.  Whether you are interested in Grade exams or just wish to play for pleasure, my approach is relaxed and friendly but structured according to the particular needs of the student.

I also teach Music Theory online and have written a course for students who need to pass their Grade V Theory in order to proceed with the higher grades in their instruments. A Practical Path to Music Theory is particularly aimed at those who find this subject dry and boring.  The course is primarily in video format so that the student hears and sees each concept, thereby understanding it before it becomes an academic, “paper” exercise.  Designed in downloadable modules, A Practical Path to Music Theory which will be available soon to purchase from this website.
